I am accredited therapist with over a decade of experience.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss,
self-esteem difficulties, and challenges related to emotional eating and body
image. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear explanation of
what’s wrong. We start wherever you are.
I work at a pace that feels manageable for you, focusing on
what’s happening in your life now, while gently understanding the patterns
that may be keeping you stuck.
Therapeutic Approaches
I offer an integrative style of therapy, drawing from
a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s individual needs:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on understanding the link between thoughts, feelings, and
behaviours. It helps clients identify unhelpful patterns and develop
practical tools to manage anxiety, low mood, stress, and other
difficulties.
Integrative Therapy
An integrative approach combines different therapeutic models, allowing
Breda to tailor sessions to what works best for you—emotionally,
psychologically, and practically.
Talk Therapy (Person-Centred Counselling) This approach provides a supportive space to talk openly and explore
experiences, emotions, and challenges at your own pace, helping you gain
clarity and self-understanding.
Solution-Focused Therapy
This approach is future-focused and goal-oriented, helping clients
identify strengths, resources, and achievable steps toward positive
change.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Mindfulness techniques support clients in developing greater awareness of
the present moment, helping to reduce stress, manage overwhelming
emotions, and improve emotional regulation.
All sessions are offered online,
allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space,
anywhere in Ireland. Online therapy can feel especially helpful if you:
