Hakkında
Dr Aoife Laffan is a Consultant Neurologist. They qualified in 2007 from University College Dublin. In 2012, Dr Laffan completed their MD thesis on autonomic function in epilepsy. Dr Laffan has undertaken two Aspire Fellowships, the first in deep brain stimulation for movement disorders at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin, and the second in epilepsy and chronic disease management.
Dr Laffan has a specialist interest in Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and has spent time with Professor Jon Stone and their team in Edinburgh. Dr Laffan is a founding member of the Functional Neurological Disorder Society, an international group aiming to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with FND.
