About
Dr Anwar Alroubaie is a well experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist at Zulekha Hospital in Dubai, with over 17 years of experience in his field. Prior to joining Zulekha Hospital Dubai in 2022, Dr Alroubaie practiced at Saudi German Health Care in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He completed his medical degree at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Sudan in 2003 followed by his general training and specialist oncology training in Sudan in 2006. After completing his training, Dr Alroubaie began practicing as a Medical Oncologist in Saudi Arabia. In 2018, he began his Medical Oncology Fellowship in Saudi Arabia, completing it in 2020.
Dr Alroubaie has specialist interests in the comprehensive management of breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer (including oesophageal cancer and colorectal cancer), lung cancer and cervical cancer. He has expertise in a wide range of treatment modalities, including: chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biological therapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, radiation, and nuclear medicine therapies. Dr Alroubaie is recognised for his strong focus on patient-centric care, consistently striving for cutting-edge and personalised approaches in patient treatment.
Dr Alroubaie is an excellent communicator and has several collaborative relationships across different medical disciplines to ensure multidisciplinary patient care. Alongside his clinical work, he is actively involved in the advancement of medical oncology through teaching, research, and the development of treatment protocols.
