Dr Frankel has been a practising clinical nephrologist for
over 25 years and works at Imperial College Healthcare Trust at the Hammersmith Hospital. He has a long-standing and wide experience across all forms of kidney
disease but has a particular interest and expertise in relation to diabetes and
the kidney. He is a member of the national diabetes- kidney guideline writing
group which determines national recommendations for prescribing the people with
