Dr. Amir Kosarnia began his medical journey at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, graduating in 1992. With 18 years of medical practice in Iran under his belt, he moved to Canada, where he successfully completed his qualification exams. In 2012, Dr. Amir made Australia his new home, practising medicine in rural and remote regions across Western and South Australia, as well as New South Wales.
Throughout his career, Dr. Amir has pursued additional qualifications, including a certificate in Primary Care Dermatology. He has also contributed to academia as a faculty member at Flinders University rural program in Mount Gambier, South Australia. Dr Amir is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners, having obtained this in 2015.
Dr. Amir's professional interests cover a wide spectrum, with a focus on Chronic Disease Management, Preventive Care, Mental Health, and Dermatology. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and holistic healthcare to his patients, ensuring their overall well-being and quality of life.
