About
Dr. Newman earned his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 1985 and completed his training on the Sydney Orthopaedic Training Programme in 1999. He attained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000 and subsequently pursued a prestigious fellowship in Surgery of the Foot and Ankle at Harborview Medical Centre in Seattle, USA.
A respected member of the American and Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Societies, Dr. Newman is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He has contributed to international orthopaedic journals with his publications and actively participates in the training of orthopaedic surgeons and junior medical officers.
Dr. Newman's extensive expertise covers a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, and includes reconstructive surgery for hallux valgus and lesser toe deformities, management of osteoarthritis, reconstruction for flatfoot and complex deformities, total ankle arthroplasty, ankle arthroscopy, and treatment of inflammatory joint disorders.
With over 23 years of dedicated service in Sydney's North and NorthWest regions, he is committed to providing high-quality surgical care and restoring his patients' foot and ankle health.
