About
Mr Tasleem completed his medical degree at Imperial College School of Medicine in 2009, subsequently completing his core surgical training in Yorkshire. During his training he was awarded his Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He later underwent a 5 year specialist training programme in Urology in North and Central London. During his specialist training, he gained expertise in all areas of general urology. He also completed further subspecialist training at the Stones and Endourology Unit at University College London Hospital where he gained experience in managing urinary tract stones and upper tract cancer using laser surgery and minimally invasive techniques.
Mr Tasleem has clinical expertise in all areas of general urology, with special interests in urological oncology. He sees patients with a variety of conditions, including the following:
• Bladder cancer
• Kidney cancer
• Prostate cancer
• Benign prostate hyperplasia
• Kidney, ureteric and bladder stones
• Male sexual health (e.g. premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction)
• Urinary tract infections
• Lower urinary tract dysfunction
• Urinary incontinence
• Interstitial cystitis
He has experience managing these conditions using both minimally invasive and laser surgery techniques, such as GreenLight laser surgery, UroLift, Rezum, cystoscopy, bladder lesion removal, prostate mapping, cancer surgery and urethrotomy.
