Mr Alexander Leggate is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, with specialist expertise in complex spinal surgery, neuro-oncology, and neurotrauma. In neuro-oncology, Mr Leggate performs complex cranial procedures, including awake craniotomies and surgeries using intra-operative neurophysiology, ultrasound, and 5-ALA fluorescence guidance. He also offers endoscopic-assisted cranial surgery.
He actively contributes to education and training as a member of the Neurosurgery Panel of Question Writers for the FRCS (Neurosurgery) examination. Mr Leggate has presented his research at national and international conferences, receiving multiple awards for his work.
