Dr. Ahmed Azmy is a Specialist Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with 14 years of professional experience. He completed his degree in Medicine at Tanta University in 2007, and later underwent training at Benha University, Egypt from where he obtained his master’s degree in Orthopaedic Surgery. Following this, he went on to obtain two fellowships; the first from Bruderkrankenhaus Hospital (Germany) in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery and the second from The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany), specialising in recent advances of management of trauma and fractures.
Dr Ahmed previously worked as a Senior Specialist at Khoula Hospital, the main orthopaedic referral and tertiary hospital in Oman, where he accomplished more than 1000 surgeries (elective and emergency). This made him an expert in his field where he also served as a trainer for Orthopaedic residents and medical school students. Later on, Dr. Ahmed joined the Ministry of Health and prevention, UAE as a head of the trauma and orthopaedic department. He not only worked hard in this position but was also the scientific coordinator for the Ministry of Health Orthopaedic club, using his knowledge to help others.
Dr. Ahmed proudly treated more than 13,000 patients at Saudi German group UAE, performed hundreds of surgeries specialized in shoulders, knees and trauma.
