Mr Ahmed Makso is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in Cornea and Refractive Surgery, currently practising at the Clarity and Lancashire Eye Clinic, as well as Hull Royal Eye Hospital. He holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, one of the UK’s leading centres for ocular oncology.
Ahmed is deeply committed to education and holds a Master’s in Medical Education from the University of Manchester, with a focus on simulation in surgical training. He serves as an examiner and microsurgical skills trainer for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and PLAB examiner, and has published widely in ophthalmology and medical education.
