Dr Ahamed Namshir is a DHA- and HAAD-licensed Specialist Orthodontist. He completed his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics at Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, India, following his Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He has over five years of clinical experience across the UAE and India, managing a wide range of orthodontic and dental cases.
His orthodontic practice includes the treatment of Class I, II and III malocclusions, aligner therapy, correction of jaw discrepancies, and management of gummy smiles, including mini-implant–assisted intrusion. He is a certified Invisalign provider and is registered with the Dental Council of India as an orthodontist. He also holds specialist orthodontic licences in the UAE and Oman.
Dr Namshir provides orthodontic treatments such as traditional metal braces, self-ligating braces, invisible and lingual braces, and clear aligners, including Invisalign. His scope of practice also includes management of cleft lip and palate cases, temporomandibular disorders, and pre-surgical orthodontics. In addition, he offers general and cosmetic dental treatments including extractions, scaling and polishing, pit and fissure sealants, veneers, smile design, crowns and bridges, and teeth whitening.
He is a life member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and has completed advanced hands-on training in lingual orthodontics, orthodontic biomechanics, pre-surgical orthodontics, and the use of mini implants, including certification from international institutions and Invisalign training programmes.
