About Dr Adnan Darr
Mr Adnan Darr is a consultant otolaryngologist at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, specialising in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. He manages a broad spectrum of adult and paediatric ENT conditions, working collaboratively within a regional multidisciplinary team to address complex cases. Mr Darr’s academic background includes a BSc in Physics from the University of Birmingham, an MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Surrey through IPEM, and an MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2009. He joined the West Midlands Higher Surgical Training Programme in 2015 and completed an Advanced Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Fellowship at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham. In 2023, he was awarded the European Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Diploma by the University of Paris. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Darr is actively involved in medical education. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCME), has published book chapters, and contributes to teaching at both the University of Birmingham and Warwick University. He also directs cadaveric training courses in FESS and Facial Plastics/Septorhinoplasty at the West Midlands Surgical Training Centre. His research has received recognition at national and international conferences. Outside of medicine, Mr Darr enjoys family life, supports Liverpool FC, plays badminton, and pursues his passion for travel.
