Dr. med. Abraham Stork, PhD ist ein in Wien niedergelassener Neurologe. Seine medizinische Ausbildung absolvierte er an der Universität Leiden in den Niederlanden, wo er im Jahr 2005 promovierte. Seine Facharztausbildung zum Neurologen schloss er an der Universitätsklinik Utrecht, Niederlande, ab. Im Jahr 2015 promovierte er an der Universität Utrecht zum Doktor der Wissenschaften (PhD). Im Jahr 2020 habilitierte er sich an der Medizinischen Universität Wien im Fach Neurologie. Dr. med. Stork, PhD verfügt über zusätzliche Ausbildungen im Bereich der neuromuskulären Erkrankungen, die er an der Universitätsklinik Utrecht absolvierte. Zudem spezialisierte er sich in Neuroonkologie am niederländischen Krebsinstitut AvL-NKI in Amsterdam. Neben seiner klinischen Tätigkeit engagiert sich Dr. med. Stork, PhD auch in der Forschung. Er war wissenschaftlich an den National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, Maryland, USA), an der Universität Utrecht und an der Erasmus Universität Rotterdam (Niederlande) tätig. Dr. med. Stork, PhD ist Mitglied der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Neurologie und der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Klinische Neurophysiologie. Im Jahr 2021 wurde ihm die Bezeichnung "Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN)" verliehen.
