Dr. Abdlmawla Alhasan is a Specialist Vascular Surgeon with extensive experience in general and vascular surgery. He earned his medical degree from Damascus University, Faculty of Medicine, and completed postgraduate training in General Surgery, obtaining a Master’s Degree in 1996 and the Syrian Board of General Surgery the same year. He subsequently completed a Master’s Degree in Vascular Surgery in 2000 and achieved the Syrian Board of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Alhasan has over 23 years of experience in general surgery and 19 years in vascular surgery. His previous practice includes serving as Specialist and Head of the Vascular Department in Syria (2001–2012), working at Khorfakkan Hospital in the UAE (2013–2017), and currently practising at Al Hosn One Day Surgery Center in the UAE since 2017.
His clinical expertise covers the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral ischemic disease, Raynaud’s disease, Buerger’s disease, diabetic foot, and varicose vein procedures including stripping, ligation, sclerotherapy, laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation, and Venaseal closure. Dr. Alhasan is also experienced in diagnostic imaging including DSA, CTA, and MRI.
In addition, he provides surgical care in proctology (hemorrhoids, anal fissures, perianal fistula), breast surgery, thyroid surgery, hernia repair, gallbladder and appendix surgery, circumcision, and excision of sebaceous cysts, lipomas, skin tags, and pilonidal sinuses.
