During this period, he gained extensive experience in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology, performing numerous coronary interventional procedures, peripheral interventions, and managing a wide range of acute, chronic, and complex cardiology cases.
As an Interventional Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Dr. Rehman also took on teaching responsibilities, serving as a Clinical Supervisor for postgraduate cardiology students at Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases.
From 2011 to 2013, Dr. Rehman worked as an Interventional Cardiologist at Zulekha Hospital in Dubai, where he continued to provide high-quality care to acute and chronic cardiology patients. He excelled in performing primary coronary angioplasties for patients experiencing acute myocardial infarctions, while also specialising in non-invasive cardiology procedures such as transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, treadmill testing, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
