About
Dr Hughes trained across London's most prestigious teaching hospitals, including St George's Hospital, the Royal London Hospital, Guy's & St Thomas' and UCLH. He spent 3 years researching the mechanisms behind eczema and received a PhD for this work. Dr Hughes undertook additional training in male genital skin conditions and set up a specialist clinic for these patients.
Dr Hughes has over 20 academic publications and has presented research internationally in Amsterdam, Milan, Berlin and Madrid. He has received numerous prizes and academic awards for his work, including a competitive grant from the Medical Research Council.
His blend of clinical expertise and research experience makes him a valuable contributor to the field of dermatology, committed to improving patient care through evidence-based practice and innovative research.
