The Primary Trauma Care Foundation (PTCF) is a leading provider of trauma care education and training in the United Kingdom. With a mission to improve the survival rates of trauma patients, PTCF offers a range of courses and resources for healthcare professionals at all levels.
The foundation's flagship program is the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course, which is recognized internationally as the standard for pre-hospital trauma care. PHTLS teaches healthcare providers how to assess and manage trauma patients in the critical pre-hospital phase, ensuring they receive the best possible care before reaching the hospital.
In addition to PHTLS, PTCF offers a variety of other courses, including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
