The Laurels is a Neurological Rehabilitation Centre based in Lincoln that provides post-acute rehabilitation as well as the management of long-term neurological conditions. The Laurels offers accommodation for up to 12 residents and includes a garden that residents are encouraged to help maintain, as well as and a training kitchen to assist with rehabilitation. Wheelchair access is provided throughout the facility, and there is a lift located on every floor.
The Laurels team develop evidence-based, person-centred rehabilitation care plans that seek to maximize an individual's independence. The Laurels is conveniently located just two miles from Lincoln City Centre, which enables service users to easily access occupational and educational opportunities, the GP practice, as well as social and recreational events.
