Scan.com has been designed to streamline the process of finding private imaging services, offering an easy-to-use scan booking platform. They've assembled a team of experienced clinicians who expedite referrals and have created a wealth of informational resources to guide individuals from a state of unknowns to concrete answers.
Scan.com is at the forefront of providing efficient and affordable access to private scans in three countries, benefiting both clinicians and patients. The platform offers individuals the freedom to choose the scan that aligns with their needs, all with the dedicated guidance of an expert clinical team. Patients have access to over 150 scanning centres nationwide (with no requirement for a GP referral), 1-to-1 clinician care, and fast digital results.
The booking process is straightforward, requiring just a few minutes to complete a form, including a short safety questionnaire. Once the booking is received, the medical team at Scan.com reaches out to finalise referrals and ensure the selected scan is appropriate for the individual's condition. The scans themselves are conducted, examined and reported by highly trained radiographers.
Should any abnormalities be identified in the scan images, the medical team promptly contacts the individual to discuss the results. The imaging report is then sent to the individual via email for use in any subsequent consultations they may require.
