Established by Ross Maskell as a specialised contact lens practice, the primary objective of Maskell + Josephson was to deliver a distinctive service that provides successful contact lens fittings for a diverse range of individuals with varying prescriptions and needs. Later, the decision was made to extend this unique philosophy to the introduction of spectacles.
From its inception, the practice has consistently remained at the forefront of contact lens development, notably conducting the initial clinical trials of the Acuvue Disposable Contact Lens. This groundbreaking initiative allowed their patients to be pioneers in experiencing the benefits of this innovation on a global scale. Committed to maintaining this pioneering spirit, Maskell + Josepshson continue to invest in the latest and most advanced technologies. The practice also consistently prioritises investments in state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive training for their staff.
With over 50 years of dedicated development, the practice has a deep understanding of individual needs. When assessing ocular health and determining optimal optical requirements, the team utilises the latest technologies available for eye-health screening, as well as advancements in spectacles (frames and lenses) and contact lenses.
