Osteopaths are trained in therapeutic approaches that are suitable for a broad range of individuals, including pregnant women, children and babies. Osteopathic care is delivered through a range of interventions which may include onward referral, health management advice, manual therapy and exercise therapy. Osteopaths adapt their therapeutic approach depending on the individual needs of the patient and their presenting complaint. Osteopathy can be used to treat a variety of ailments including: arthritic pain, cramp, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder/shoulder and elbow pain/ tennis elbow, headache arising from the neck, joint pains, including hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis, general, acute and chronic backache, back pain, generalised aches and pains, lumbago, minor sports injuries, muscle spasms, migraine prevention, neuralgia, tension and inability to relax, rheumatic pain, sciatica, circulatory problems, and digestion problems.
The clinic also offers: massage therapy (sports massage, Thai massage, Indian head massage); reflexology, aromatherapy, nutrition and health coaching, 1-to-1 Pilates, manual lymphatic drainage and Pranic healing (a treatment based on an individual's full body energy system for which physical contact is not needed).
