Eulas Clinics offers psychotherapy as a central, structured, and evidence based part of its ketamine assisted therapy (KAP) programmes. This approach ensures individuals receive the emotional and psychological support needed for sustainable, long term healing and growth. Each treatment journey begins with a comprehensive assessment led by Medical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Pamela Walters, in collaboration with psychotherapists, psychiatrists, anaesthetists, and other mental health professionals. This initial consultation reviews medical history, current concerns, and treatment goals to determine the suitability of ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
Ketamine sessions take place in a carefully regulated clinical environment, under the oversight of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. Guided by a multidisciplinary team, these sessions offer a safe and compassionate setting for emotional exploration, helping individuals process deep feelings and gain new perspectives. Since the rapid symptom relief provided by ketamine for conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, alcohol addiction, ADHD, chronic pain, and mood disorders is most effective when combined with psychological support, the programme includes ongoing structured psychotherapy.
Following each ketamine session, integration support helps individuals apply therapeutic breakthroughs in everyday life. Continued engagement through therapy allows for the development of coping strategies, emotional resilience, and meaningful change. Eulas Clinics draws on a range of evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma informed care, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and EMDR, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual.
Accessibility is a key focus at Eulas Clinics. In person support is available at the Scotland and London clinics, while flexible online sessions ensure continuity of care for those attending remotely. The approach goes beyond symptom management to support deeper transformation. Additional therapies such as stroboscopic light therapy, breathwork, integration sessions, and personalised psychedelic wellness retreats are also offered to support the individual as a whole.
These retreats provide an immersive experience that includes ceremonial practices, nature based activities, group support, and guided integration.
