Brisbane South Private Hospital is a privately owned hospital located in the Springwood Health Hub. The hospital provides surgical and medical care across a range of specialties, including gynaecology, IVF, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, paediatric and adult dental procedures, and plastic and reconstructive surgery. It features three operating theatres and specialist consulting suites, working alongside healthcare providers such as Qualitas GP, I-Med Radiology, The Fracture Clinic, and Southside Endoscopy.
Patients referred for day surgery receive detailed pre-admission guidance, including information on fasting, transport arrangements, and necessary paperwork. On the day of the procedure, patients are admitted, consulted by their anaesthetist, and undergo surgery under general anaesthesia, IV sedation, or local anaesthetic. After the procedure, recovery is monitored before patients are discharged with post-operative care instructions. A follow-up call is made within the first few days to check on recovery and address any concerns.
The hospital offers ample parking, disability access, and a structured admission process to ensure a smooth experience for patients. It is located with direct access to the Pacific Motorway, within close proximity to Logan Hospital, Sunnybank Private, and Brisbane CBD.
