The Birmingham Breast Group was founded by two leading clinicians, Mr Naren Basu, Lead Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, and Dr Daniel Henderson, an award-winning Consultant Oncologist. United by a shared vision while working at Birmingham's teaching hospitals, they aimed to set a new standard for the future of breast care. The group offers their services at The Priory Hospital, Spire Parkway Hospital and Spire Little Aston Hospital.
Driven by a desire to emulate the multidisciplinary team approach and quality found in the NHS within the private sector, Naren and Daniel assembled a team of specialists to collaborate on treatment decisions for each individual case. Within the group, a comprehensive range of breast care services is provided by highly respected surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, psychologists, geneticists, plastic surgeons, and breast care nurses. While the group's primary focus is on health management, their commitment to aesthetic outcome sets them apart.
