ABBI Clinic – Preston is a specialist eating disorder service providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals affected by eating disorders. They specialise in treating Anorexia Nervosa, ARFID, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Orthorexia, recognising that eating disorders are serious and complex mental illnesses that impact both physical health and psychological wellbeing. They are not a lifestyle choice or a passing phase, and recovery requires structured support.
A range of flexible treatment pathways is offered to meet individuals at different stages of recovery. These include Day Care, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, and Online Treatment, alongside clear self-referral options and dedicated support for parents and carers. The day treatment model allows clients to remain living at home while continuing with work, education, and relationships, alongside receiving consistent therapeutic care. This approach supports recovery within everyday life and promotes long-term, sustainable change.
At ABBI Clinic – Preston, the multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with each client to develop an individualised treatment plan tailored to their needs, goals, and circumstances. The team includes professionals with a wide range of expertise, enabling comprehensive support for the complex and overlapping symptoms associated with eating disorders.
