To further his expertise, Dr Al Shammary completed several advanced courses in different areas of dentistry, including: laser therapy, ozone therapy, implantology, cosmetic dentistry and oral oncology.
His main areas of interest include cranio-facial and maxillary trauma, impacted teeth, bone grafts and simple and complex dental implant procedures. He also has proven experience performing several oral procedures, including jaw surgery, sinus lift and orbital reconstructive surgery. He has performed over 1000 dental implant procedures and over 300 surgical repair procedures for facial injuries and trauma.
Dr Al Shammary has published several scientific papers in his field of expertise. He also supervises and advises junior clinicians and is a Lecturer in the Oral-Maxillofacial Surgical Department at the College of Dentistry, Iraq.
