About
He went on to undertake orthopaedic training through the Victorian Orthopaedic Training Program before completing advanced fellowships in foot and ankle surgery in internationally recognised centres in Oxford, Baltimore, and Atlanta. He has built a dedicated specialist practice in Richmond, where he treats both adolescents and adults with a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.
Mr Edwards also has a strong academic background, having taught anatomy at both the University of Melbourne and Stanford University. He continues to contribute to medical education as a Senior Tutor in the Department of Anatomy at the University of Melbourne and supervises doctoral students in foot and ankle anatomy research.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, he plays an active role in professional organisations, including the Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Medico-Legal Society of Victoria. He is also a member of several international professional bodies such as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Association of Clinical Anatomists.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
