About Herr Ulrich Hammerschmidt
Herr Ulrich Hammerschmidt stammt ursprünglich aus Rodalben. Nach seinem Abitur und dem Zivildienst entschied er sich für eine Ausbildung zum Krankenpfleger. Anschließend nahm er das Studium der Humanmedizin in Berlin und Freiburg auf. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss seiner Approbation vertiefte er seine medizinischen Kenntnisse in verschiedenen Bereichen, darunter die Innere Medizin, die onkologische Nachsorge und die praktische Allgemeinmedizin. Um seinen Patienten eine ganzheitliche Behandlung anbieten zu können, absolvierte Herr Hammerschmidt eine Zusatzausbildung in Psychosomatik und Psychotherapie an der Süddeutschen Akademie für Psychotherapie (PT) und Psychiatrie (Pfalzklinik Landeck). Im Oktober 1998 gründete er seine eigene Praxis mit dem Schwerpunkt auf ärztliche Psychotherapie, Naturheilverfahren und Traditioneller Chinesischer Medizin (TCM) in Landau. Neben seiner Praxistätigkeit engagierte sich Herr Hammerschmidt aktiv in der Ausbildung angehender Psychotherapeuten und zeigte großes Interesse an berufspolitischen Themen. Nach 25 Jahren erfolgreicher Tätigkeit als selbstständiger Arzt schloss er seine Praxis im August 2023. Seitdem bereichert er als angestellter Arzt für Psychotherapie ein Team von Allgemeinmedizinern. Seine Schwerpunkte liegen weiterhin in der psychodynamischen Psychotherapie, den Naturheilverfahren und der Behandlung der „Körper-Seele-Einheit“, insbesondere durch die Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin (TCM).
