About
Dr Ch'ng gained her medical qualification from the University of Melbourne in 1999 before going on to train in general surgery and later specialising in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She also undertook the RACS Surgeon Scientist Programme and earned a PhD in the molecular biology of advanced skin malignancies.
In 2011, she completed a residency in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Following this, Dr Ch'ng embarked upon further sub-specialty study in the USA and Taiwan, where she gained experience in adult facial trauma. She later trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Microsurgery Fellow on the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery fellowship program.
Dr Ch'ng works in the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. She also holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Sydney.
