Dr Simon Kelly is a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist specialising in substance misuse. He qualified as a psychiatrist in 1999 and began working in the NHS, later joining Priory Hospital Southampton where he has been the clinical lead for addiction services since 2006. He also works one day a week at The Manor Clinic. 

Dr Kelly completed his degree in Medicine in 1991 at the Imperial College School of Medicine, London. He subsequently undertook training in psychiatry at The Bethlem and Maudsley Hospital where he gained experience in general adult psychiatry. Dr Kelly then went on to train in liaison psychiatry, OCD, ADHD, ADD and addictions. He now holds a Masters degree in Psychiatry and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. 

Dr Kelly says he considers it a privilege to work with others, and strives to build a trusting, respectful and open relationship with his patients.
