Dr. Alia Humaid Alqassimi is a renowned Emirati gynecologist who is internationally certified in innovative surgical and non-surgical rejuvenative aesthetic gynecology. With over 15 years of experience, she specialises in procedures such as labiaplasty, clitoral hood lifting, paraneoplasty, and laser bleaching, among others. These procedures are aimed at enhancing the appearance of the intimate area, improving sexual gratification, and repairing the relaxed vulva and vaginal wall using effective surgical methods with minimal downtime.
Dr. Alqassimi’s expertise in this specialty is driven by her passion for empowering women and boosting their confidence. She is the first Emirati gynecologist to gain senior membership in the European Society of Aesthetic Gynaecology (ESAG) and was appointed to the Scientific Committee for the ESAG World Congress 2017 held in Madrid, Spain.
She joined Al Garhoud Private Hospital in 2015 after spending more than 15 years at the Dubai Health Authority, where she worked in various healthcare government facilities, including Latifa Hospital, a tertiary maternity center of excellence. At Latifa Hospital, Dr. Alqassimi headed the Obstetrics & Gynecology Emergency Department and led numerous clinical excellence and service enhancement programs. 
Dr. Alqassimi provides holistic, patient-centered care, focusing on a wide range of women's health issues such as preventive health screenings, antenatal and postnatal care, and high-risk pregnancies. Her special interest lies in sexual and reproductive health, and she is committed to training the next generation of doctors through the clinical-rotation placements of ObGyn resident doctors.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Alqassimi is a certified Basic Life Support instructor, training healthcare professionals in life support resuscitation. She is also a strong advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness and the rights of people with disabilities.
Her services include vaginal rejuvenation, non-invasive laser vulvar skin tightening, labia majora augmentation with dermal fillers, correction of labia minora deformities, perineoplasty, and scar care with PRP, among others. she also offers sexual education, screening for cervical cancer, family planning, breast cancer screening, and treatment for menstrual irregularities, STDs, and vaginal infections.
