Dr Raheel Shariff is a distinguished British Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialisation in foot and ankle conditions. He is recognised for his innovative approach to surgery, including the pioneering use of minimally invasive surgical treatments that can significantly enhance patient recovery times. His practice encompasses the latest evidence-based surgical and non-surgical treatment options within his chosen sub-speciality.
Dr Shariff's clinical interests are extensive and include sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, bunions, and total ankle replacements. He is also focused on the development of patient-related outcome measures, introducing 'patient-reported outcome measures' (PROMs) to influence national standards in Saudi Arabia.
He completed his basic and higher surgical training in Liverpool, UK, and successfully obtained his FRCS (Tr & Orth) in 2012. Dr Shariff further honed his expertise through internationally renowned fellowships in foot and ankle surgery in Baltimore, USA, and limb reconstruction in Liverpool, UK. He is a member of the General Medical Council (UK) and the Royal College of Surgeons (UK).
