About
Dr Poh-Sien Loh consults with Neurology Network Melbourne at their Box Hill location. He is a highly skilled neurologist who specialises in stroke and general neurology. Dr Loh is also a specialist neurologist at Eastern Health and provides services at Maroondah Hospital and Box Hill Hospital.
Dr Loh completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 1992. He then went on to train at the Royal Perth Hospital before undertaking specialist neurology training at the Austin Hospital and Box Hill hospital. He later became a stroke research fellow at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and continues to be involved in stroke research today. His other interests also include more general neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and migraine.
Dr Loh has an interest in medical education and currently teaches medical students, staff, and advanced trainees. He is also involved with the Victorian Stroke Telemedicine project providing stroke telemedicine services to hospitals in Victoria. Dr Loh is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and a member of a number of professional organisations including the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists and the Stroke Society of Australia.
