Dr Phong Nguyen is a rehabilitation medicine physician. Dr Nguyen is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Nguyen completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with Honours at the University of Tasmania in 2006. During their medical degree, they undertook research into traumatic brain injuries, as part of the Neurotrauma Register of Tasmania with The University of Tasmania and Royal Hobart Hospital.
Dr Nguyen commenced their advanced training in Rehabilitation Medicine at the largest dedicated private rehabilitation hospital in Australia, before moving to Brisbane to undertake training in spinal injury rehabilitation. They completed their Rehabilitation Medicine training throughout all the major metropolitan hospitals in Brisbane.
