Ms Niamh Lawless
About
Ms Lawless graduated from the Institute of Technology, Carlow with a BA (Hons) in Applied Social care in 2014. She further developed her expertise at Queen's University Belfast, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Systemic Practice and Family Therapy in 2019, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Practice and Family Therapy in 2025. In 2022, Niamh completed training in Functional Family Therapy. Niamh has also completed training in DBT (Dialectical Behaviour therapy) and DBT for adolescents.
Her therapeutic approach focuses on understanding the relationships, communication patterns, and experiences that shape emotional wellbeing. By creating a safe and supportive environment, Niamh helps clients explore challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting. Her commitment to collaborative, person-centred care enables families and individuals to work towards lasting positive change and improved emotional resilience.
