I'm pleased to offer a friendly and non-intimidating consultation to anyone who is worried about a breast lump or other breast problem, or who would like a routine breast check. I'm happy to see patients who self-refer.
If you require breast imaging (mammogram or ultrasound) or breast biopsy, in most cases this can be performed by a Consultant Breast Radiologist at the same clinic visit.
Special interests:
Diagnosis, treatment and advice for benign breast conditions: lumps; cysts; nipple symptoms; breast symptoms during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
Screening, surveillance and check-ups for breast cancer.
Surgical Procedures:
All surgery for breast cancer including therapeutic mammoplasty (aesthetic reshaping or breast reduction for one or both sides at the time of breast cancer surgery).
I can also offer removal of benign breast lumps, surgery for nipple discharge, correction of nipple inversion, and removal of breast skin lesions and sebaceous cysts.
My NHS practice is in Lanarkshire (Wishaw General, Monklands and Hairmyres Hospitals), and I am currently Clinical Lead for the Department of Breast Surgery at NHS Lanarkshire.
I graduated from medical school in 2002, and completed Consultant training with the West of Scotland Higher Surgical Training Scheme and Glasgow Oncoplastic Breast Surgical Fellowship in 2016.
