About Ms Anna Moon
Ms Anna Moon is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hand and Wrist Surgery with almost 20 years of experience. She holds her clinics and operates in the Worcestershire and Warwickshire region. She currently sees private patients at Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester and The Droitwich Spa Hospital. Ms Moon worked as a Consultant at the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. Ms Moon completed her medical degree at Pavel Jozef Safarik University, Slovakia in 1994 followed by an extensive training scheme in orthopaedics. She later completed further training in hand surgery and microsurgery across Europe. Ms Moon offers treatments for a variety of hand and wrist conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture, cubital tunnel syndrome (ulnar nerve compresion), trigger fingers, arthritis and other hand, wrist and some elbow conditions such as tennis elbow. Ms Moon has completed over 100 finger and wrist/hand replantations, a microsurgical procedure that reattaches amputated parts, and has worked with plastic surgeons in Abu Dhabi on complex hand injuries. Alongside her clinical work, Ms Moon remains at the forefront of her field by actively participating in training courses and conferences that keeps herself updated on the latest advancements in hand and wrist surgery. She is also a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Aston University. Ms Moon extends her talents to serve as an expert witness, rendering prompt and efficient written reports for personal injury and medical negligence cases. Possessing a deep understanding of legal principles and civil procedures rules, she adopts an impartial, comprehensive, and logical approach, grounded in her extensive clinical experience and the latest evidence-based medical literature. In her spare free time, Ms Moon enjoys family life with her husband and her three children. She loves nature, spending time outdoors, walking, gardening and yoga.
