Ms Hayley Lord is the Clinical Director and Running Physiotherapist at the St James' clinic for Six Physio. She qualified in 2013 with a First class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. She then began her career in physiotherapy whilst touring with the Birmingham Royal Ballet where she treated dance injuries. Following this, she worked for three years for Imperial College NHS trust where she rotated through various departments. This included musculoskeletal, trauma, stroke, orthopaedics, respiratory and elderly care. Furthermore she provided physiotherapy during many sporting events, including the London Marathon and cricket matches.
At Six Physio she mainly provides physiotherapy for musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries. Moreover she is a Running Guru, in which she provides running assessments and advice for regular runners, to improve their technique and prevent running injuries. She also runs regular Pilates classes to improve muscle strength and flexibility.
