He had the opprtunity to train in Foot and Ankle surgery under Mr Geary and Mr Walker, past British Foot ans Ankle surgery association presidents.
He had good academic output with research in Hallux Valgus Surgery, Hip dysplacia during my higher surical training. He had completed Mch(Orth) at University of Liverpool in 2002. He had passed FRCS(Orth) in 2003.
Siva had joined Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust in November 2003. He had developed special interet in ankle arthroscopy , Tendon reconstruction as well as Hallux valgus surgery. I have been part of dynamic Foot and Ankle unit at Liverpool University hospital Foundation trust after truts merger in 2019, providing tertiary specialist care in Merseyside and beyond.
He had been offering private practice at Fairfield independent Hopsital, Spire Liverpool Hospital and Renacres Hopsital in merseyside and lancashire since 2004.
He had been part of regional Tertiary Foot and Ankle service undertaking routine procedures such as scarf osteotomy for Bunions, toe fusions, Morton's Neuroma excision as well as complex procedures such as flat foot reconstruction, Arthroscopic procedures of ankle.
Siva Sirikonda had published papers on Metatarsophalangeal joint replacement, Metatarsophalangeal joint fusion comparing locking and non locking plates, Intermetatarsal angle change following MTP joint fusion,Rheumatoid fore foot reconstruction, Number of joints in 5th toe, Late reconstruction of neglected ankle fractures.
