After completing his dental and medical degrees at the University of Wales in Cardiff, Mr Bayoumi undertook initial training across various hospitals in South Wales, continuing with higher specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the West Midlands. During this time, he trained at both The Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Birmingham Children's Hospital (one of four national craniofacial surgery centres).

Mr Bayoumi also works at Tameside General Hospital, where he is a core member of the skin cancer MDT team, treating both benign and malignant head and neck skin conditions.
