Mr Hadi obtained his medical qualification at the University of Oxford and also earned a Bachelors Honours Degree and a Masters Degree. He was born, raised and educated in Yorkshire. His postgraduate training took place in Yorkshire and he was able to complete two fellowships. The Sheffield Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship and then the Wrightington Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship under the tutelage of International leaders in upper limb surgery that includes Professor Ian Trail, Professor Len Funk and Professor Adam Watts. He works as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialisation in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. Dr Hadi focuses on Arthroscopic (Keyhole) and Arthroplasty (Joint Replacement) Surgery. His Elective NHS and private practice involve every aspect of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
He performs Arthroscopic (Keyhole) Surgery for all amenable Shoulder and Elbow pathologies. Every Arthroscopic procedure is a day-case procedure and this means that patients go home the same day as surgery. Mr Hadi carries out both Anatomic and Reverse Shoulder Replacements and is keenly interested in Revision Shoulder Replacement Surgery. As regards academics, he teaches and trains passionately. Mr Hadi became a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of Edinburgh and holds the position of a Clinical Tutor at the University of Central Lancashire. Besides, he is a Clinical Tutor at the University of Leeds and Hull York Medical School. He is a Royal College of Surgeons Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor. When it comes to research, he has publications and has been to national and international meetings for presentations. Mr Hadi reviews for the Shoulder and Elbow Journal.
