About Mr Richard Harker
Mr Richard Harker is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, focusing on the treatment and management of spine problems. He qualified in Medicine from Cambridge University and completed his higher training at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London. He received further training during his fellowship in Australia, where he was involved in the development of the computer navigation system that is now commonly used in arthroplasty. He is currently based at the North Hampshire Hospital as the Primary Spinal Surgeon with a special interest in the lumbar spine. Alongside surgery, he runs a multidisciplinary practice aiming to target all possible problems. Therefore, his patients are offered excellent surgical care as well as early access to physiotherapy and general spine care services.
