After successfully passing the Inter-Collegiate exit examination, he was awarded the Inter-Collegiate Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. He was appointed to the prestigious post of Consultant Surgeon of Liver Transplantation, Hepatobiliary, and Pancreatic Surgery in King's College Hospital in 2006.
Mr Srinivsan's clinical interests include liver transplantation and transplantation from living donors, surgery for malignant diseases of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas. He also uses modern techniques such as Laparoscopic Surgery in the management of patients with Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary diseases. He is actively involved in clinical research particularly for include islet cell transplantation.
