About Mr Christopher Mark Andrews
Mr Andrews is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at York Nuffield, Scarborough and Bridlington Hospitals. He has a particular interest in hip and knee surgery. Mr Andrews qualified in 1985 from the University of London. He completed his postgraduate training in London and Yorkshire and a fellowship specialising in Revision Hip and Knee surgery in Leeds. He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Scarborough Hospital in 1997 where he has spent time as the Medical Director. His practice includes Minimally Invasive Hip Replacement, Revision Hip Replacement, Partial Knee Replacement, Total Knee Replacement surgery and Knee Arthroscopy. His particular clinical interests are Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) Hip Replacement and Day of Surgery Discharge for appropriate patients. He has undertaken over 1200 DAA cases. He is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of York where his research interests include Motion Capture with Biofeedback and Artificial Intelligence.
