Mr Hasan Qazi is a Consultant Urologist at St George's University Hospital in London, joining in February 2017, and having previously worked for Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He also sees patients privately, including at The Princess Grace Hospital.
He specialises in prostate cancer and lower urinary tract dysfunction. Mr Qazi completed basic surgical training in Liverpool and achieved his doctorate in Urinary Bladder Cancer at the University of Leicester having been awarded a number of research grants. He completed urology training in Glasgow and was the first British trainee to be invited for a 12 month Fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at University Hospital Leipzig, a world-leading centre in minimally- invasive prostatectomy.
Mr Qazi was appointed Consultant Urologist in Glasgow in 2013 where he started laparoscopic pelvic cancer surgery, and went on to start the Robotic Prostatectomy Program for the West of Scotland.
He is actively involved in teaching and training at a number of international courses, and is the Course Director for the ‘innovations in laparoscopy' course in Hamburg and has trained over 250 experienced Urologists from across Europe.
