Mr Bidwai is a specialist orthopaedic surgical consultant in shoulder and elbow surgery. He completed his post- CCT fellowship in South Tees Hospital. He has been awarded a travelling fellowship by the British Orthopaedic Association and the international Bone research association in order to obtain additional training in shoulder/elbow surgery and upper limb surgery at world renowned institutions such as Mayo Clinic in the USA.
Mr Bidwai has won the AO trauma research prize for his work in ankle fractures.
He has also completed advanced fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow surgery in the world famous Wrightington Upper Limb Unit.
He has a large interest in education and research and continuously peer reviews journals.
