Miss Julia Sen is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in reconstructive surgery, eyelid surgery, oculoplastic surgery and cosmetic eyelid surgery. Julia qualified for medicine in at University of Leicester Medical School in 1993, and went on to train at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, specialising her training in periocular skin cancer and oculofacial plastic surgery. Julia undertook training in Liverpool University Deanery Hospitals, after which she gained fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons and membership with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Julia believes her practice of ophthalmic plastic surgery is crucial to treating cosmetic distress, vision loss and discomfort, by offering Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a gold standard treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer with high success rates. Julia utilises her anatomical knowledge to aid in her practice and produce a high standard of results in all patients she treats. Miss Sen has also worked extensively to create one-stop service for patients seeking out periocular Moh's excision and reconstruction.
