Mr Michael Scott

About
Mr. Scott earned his primary medical degree at Liverpool Medical School in 1978, after which he began training as a junior general surgeon in multiple specialties until 1983. He then spent 3 years in San Diego, California working as a "Surgical Fellow", and upon his return to the UK, Mr. Scott underwent 2 years of training as a transplant surgeon before returning to higher general surgical training. Upon completion, Mr. Scott was appointed as a consultant general surgeon to the St Helens and Knowsley Trust in 1993, where he has since remained and become the senior surgeon.
Mr. Scott is responsible for the establishment of the Abdominal Wall Reconstruction service which is the country's largest and busiest unit specialising in repairing complex abdominal wall defects and is one of the busiest general surgery services in Europe. Mr. Scott is renowned for his work and has lectured at national and international conferences.
