★★☆☆☆ ✓ Verified I saw Marcia for a ruptured ovarian cyst (I've never had a cyst before and so wanted not only treatment for the cyst itself, but an understanding as to what it was, why I got it, what the treatment options were).
Marcia was lovely, but I felt totally dismissed when I raised with her the question that I may have PCOS. I've previously been to the GP multiple times with excessive facial hair growth, hormonal acne and unexplained weight gain - all symptoms of PCOS. When I mentioned it to Marcia, she quickly dismissed that 'people with PCOS are obese', and therefore I don't have it. I was disappointed I had to push to explain to her the symptoms I had, rather than her asking me about my symptoms, given it was our first appointment.
