Dr Nunn studied Medicine at Cambridge University and then St Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 1999. After working in general medicine at Whipps Cross Hospital for three years they became a lecturer in medical education at St George's hospital, completing a postgraduate certificate in education whilst continuing clinical practice.
